In an effort to making writing skills more fun I’ve decided to make a bunch of easy printable worksheets themed around things kids (mostly mine) are interested in.  To that end I’ve created a whole series of ABC worksheet pages themed around cats, and I’m kicking off the series with these pencil grip training tracing pages.  They’re more than coloring, and help your child learn all the skill they’ll need to trace and write letters in a more fun format, as they trace and “draw” there own cute cats.

So here are some free, printable writing practice worksheets that are secretly more about pencil control and grip, and perfect for teaching pre-writing skills without endlessly tracing the alphabet.
