Free Printable “Just” Sight Word Worksheets for Kindergarten & First Grade

5 Free "just" sight word worksheets printable bundle overview image showing all 5 printable pages for the sight word just

The sight word “just” is an important early reading word that helps children describe something that happened a moment ago or emphasize an idea. These free printable “just” sight word worksheets give kids meaningful practice recognizing, reading, tracing, and using the word just through simple, hands-on learning activities.

Children see just often in everyday language and early readers, such as: “I just finished,” “She just came in,” “It was just there,” and many beginner books. Because just can change the meaning or timing of a sentence, learning it early supports reading comprehension and fluency.

As a mom of four (with one child currently learning sight words), I know how helpful it is when kids can understand words that describe when something happened. I design these worksheets to be encouraging, approachable, and easy to use at home or in the classroom.
