Sight words play a huge role in helping young readers build fluency, and “your” is one of those common, high-frequency words that appears again and again in early texts. These free printable “your” sight word worksheets give kids opportunities to practice reading, tracing, writing, and using the word your in meaningful, hands-on ways.
Children run into your early in phrases like “your hat,” “your turn,” “your toy,” or “Do your work.”
Because it can be confused with you’re, early exposure and repetition help solidify understanding and boost confidence.
As a mom of four (including one currently in 1st grade!), sight word practice has become part of our daily rhythm. Creating these worksheets helps keep learning fun, simple, and affordable for my own kids, and I love being able to share them with teachers, homeschool families, and parents who want print-and-go literacy support.
These “Your” sight word worksheets are entirely free and ready for home or classroom use.
