The sight word “do” is one of the earliest action words young readers learn, and it pops up everywhere in early readers and classroom sentences. These free printable “do” sight word worksheets give kids lots of practice recognizing, tracing, writing, and reading the word do in fun, engaging, developmentally friendly ways.
You’ll find do in countless beginner sentences such as: “Do you see it?” “Do we go now?” “Do I need that?” Because the word is so common, mastering it early helps kids build confidence and read more smoothly.
As a mom of four (with one currently in 1st grade), I’ve learned firsthand how much simple, print-and-go activities can help during this stage. These worksheets were designed to make sight word practice easy, playful, and affordable for parents, teachers, and homeschoolers. Everything on this page is free to print individually, no log-in needed.
