The sight word “will” is an important early future-tense word that children begin encountering in simple stories, classroom conversations, and early writing. These free printable “will” sight word worksheets give young learners fun, hands-on practice with tracing, reading, writing, and using the word will in meaningful ways.
Kids see will often in phrases like: “I will go,” “She will run,” “We will play,” “Will you help me?” Because this word is used to talk about future actions and questions, mastering it helps children read with more fluency and understand story meaning more clearly.
As a mom of four (with one currently in 1st grade!), I know how helpful it is to have simple, print-and-go resources that make early literacy feel approachable and enjoyable. These worksheets were designed to be easy, useful, and completely free for teachers, homeschoolers, and parents.
All worksheets are free to print individually right from this post.
