Noodle Necklace
This colorful and simple activity turns pasta into a fun piece of wearable art while reinforcing the letter N.
Supplies Needed
- Small pasta (round or tube shapes)
- Paint or food coloring
- Hand sanitizer or rubbing alcohol
- Plastic bag
- String or yarn
How to Do the Activity
- Add pasta, paint, and a small squirt of sanitizer to a bag.
- Shake until coated, then let dry.
- Thread the dried noodles onto string.

Supplies Needed
- Black paper
- Shaving cream
- Glue
- Paintbrush or fingers
How to Make the Craft
- Mix shaving cream with glue. (Just measure with your heart… I felt like I had so much saving cream compared to glue and it came out just fine. Maybe 5 parts shaving cream to one part glue?)
- Use the mixture to paint moons and stars on black paper.
- Let dry to create a puffy, textured effect.

- Let kids shape or arrange materials into a nest form. If this is too hard, you can also glue the nest material to a piece of paper.
- Add pompom “eggs” once the nest is complete.
